Debbie's Story
“I love being quit because of financial stability, health and personal time. My life isn’t dictated by where my cigarettes are and if I have a lighter or matches.”
Deborah quit smoking cold turkey seventeen years ago. She quit because she became pregnant with her first child. She found that pretzels were a huge help as well as changing behavioral patterns. She chewed gum in the car, stayed out of the clubs and bars and surrounded herself with non-smokers. She says that she discovered who her real smoker friends were because some weren’t willing to support her quit.
