Melinda's Story

Melinda used to smoke about half a pack a day. She has a very busy life and smoking a cigarette was the only break she took during the day. When she had tried quitting in the past she got very stressed out. “I think I was successful this time because I’m treating myself better, I still take my breaks but I don’t need the cigarette to calm me down.” Melinda feels a big sense of accomplishment now that she is a nonsmoker. The first few months were difficult for her, but now she barely thinks about it.
